There has been a change in schedule for the August show.  The show has been moved to Pensacola, FL.  The date will stay August 9-10, 2008, but the show will have nothing to do with NTPC.  As has been rumored NTPC decided to cancel the Andalusia, AL show.

The Dixie Region Board of Directors was determined to give its membership the final show to get qualified for the 2008 DRTPA Finals.  The decision to move the show to Pensacola, FL was made based on the cost of the facility and the availability of cattle.  The Board hopes the membership will support their decision with a large attendance at the Pensacola, FL show on August 9-10, 2008.  All proceeds from the show will go into the 2008 DRTPA Finals.  ________________________________________________________________________________

Dixie Region ended its 2007 season with another GREAT Finals.  DRTPA Finals had over $100,000 in paybacks and awards for its members this year.  If you missed out, be sure to check out the 2007/2008 DRTPA schedule and mark your calendar.  You have plenty of time to get qualified.

Don't forget, participation in five (5) sanctioned events gets you qualified for the 2008 DRTPA Finals.  Participation in seven (7) sanctioned events gets you the year-end jacket or other Finals Award.  Participation in eight (8) or more sanctioned events gets you the year-end buckle or other award.
